PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) is a water-soluble synthetic high-molecular polymer, featuring excellent film-forming property, adhesion, biocompatibility and environmental friendliness.
Called the basic definition and the preparation of PVA, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA), not directly from ethylene glycol monomer polymerization, but by Polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) by alcoholysis or hydrolysis preparation. Its molecular chain contains a large number of hydrophilic hydroxyl groups (-OH), and the molecular weight and alcoholysis degree are the key parameters determining its performance. PVA is usually in the form of white to slightly yellow granules, powder or flocculent solids.
